Membership Community
We have developed a wide range of membership opportunities, because a wide range of volunteers, facilitators, and eco-preneurs are what will make the Rosseau Sanctuary a sustainable, thriving community.
Wood Plan Membership
Wood Membership Plans are $400/year, and need to be approved 60 days before the beginning of the Members’ first event. Wood Plan Members are able to access the Residency Program (renewed annually), allowing them to stay onsite between events to decompress and enjoy the land for a suggested donation of $40/night in the lodge, or $100 per cabin per night (plus the cost of propane). Members also get access to retreats and workshops at a discounted rate (pending availability and discretion of the facilitator), and invite guests to either of these programs as well. Wood Plan Members can book events for a reduced rate, receive an online presence as leaders of the Sanctuary, receive social media marketing support to support their events, and access the leadership team to collaborate with on running retreats and circles of care at the Sanctuary.
Work Exchange Membership
Work Exchange Membership Plans require a minimum of 40hrs of volunteer support at the Sanctuary, across at least 2 seasons/year. Once 40hrs has been given, Work Exchange Members can access the Residency Program (renewed annually), allowing them to stay on the land in the volunteer tenting area between events to decompress and enjoy the land for a suggested donation of $15/night, or $125 per cabin per night. Note, only Wood Plan Members can access the Main Lodge for the Residency Program. Work Exchange Members also receive opportunities to join sacred builds, community ceremonies, and benefit from barter opportunities within the broader community project (e.g., harvest, workshop discounts).
