Feeling the call to strengthen your connection with your Higher Self, the earth, your community, and your practice?
It’s the perfect place to unplug, ground, rejuvenate, and connect.

These are turbulent times, with a lot of upheaval ... but there is also so much beauty. As healing arts practitioners it can be challenging to find clarity and strengthen our connection with this beauty, and life force energy that runs around, through, and between us.

The weekend will include practicing the art of slowing down, a guided walk through the land, an evening fire, and plenty of down-time for personal practice and to enjoy the forest, stream, and sacred land teachers as you choose. Ecotherapy practices and teachings will also be shared, to incorporate them into your practice.

Due to social distancing requirements, we will be spending most of our time outside, and space will be limited to a maximum of 10 people. Folks who enjoy tenting are welcome!
Weekend Details

Accommodation: Options include single beds in a shared room, private rooms (preference given to couples), and private cabins.

Transportation: Please arrive Saturday morning, with a strong preference that everybody has arrived by 10:30am so we can have a morning check-in. The drive is about 2.5-3hrs (1454 Hekkla Road, Rosseau). We'll be locking up to leave the Sanctuary at 4pm on Sunday.

Food:
Bring Vegetarian potluck dishes for 1-2 of the following: 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 supper, snacks, healthy beverages to share. Please recognize that the weekends are zero waste, so bring items in reusable containers that can be washed and brought back home. During food prep, due to COVID, a mask will be required to be worn for meal prep and serving. All guests will be asked to eat with 6' between them, outside (weather permitting) or spread throughout the lodge (if it's raining).

Donation:
I request a nominal donation of $100-150 + food to share for modest, healthy potlucks. All guests are asked to bring gifts of tobacco or crystals for the land to give when you feel blessed by its beauty or a teaching.

Flow:
On Saturday, we will start the day with quiet reflection, personal practice, and breakfast. Then we will come together for a gratitude walk, mindfully honouring the sacred sites, guides, and teachers on the land (e.g., the sacred well, ancestral stone, star gate, teaching tree, labyrinth, riverside meditation gazebo).

In the early afternoon on each day, all are welcome to enjoy their personal practice, the land, nap, quiet conversation and connection. The evenings will be a community fire and free-time to enjoy the stars, each other and your own thoughts.

I’d love to hear how your practice is going, how you have been doing personally, and what you’d like to work towards. A
