Sharing our Bounty
Each season brings it's bounty, and we are delighted to give back by sharing the harvest with our Stewards, Members, volunteers, and the broader community! This summer, we are featuring flowers and herbs of the plant kingdom, with a focus on those that nourish, calm, heal and purify. To sign up for our seasonal harvest-share to be given first opportunity to purchase harvest bundles before they are sent to our retailers, please email Melanie at [email protected].
Available this summer...
Offerings
If you are ready to open up to your connection with the planet and it's capacity to support your evolution, our community farm is here for you.
In addition to our seasonal harvest, we welcome our Members, Stewards and guests to experience sustenance farming, where humans cultivate a direct relationship with nature, to obtain their essentials while sustaining wild animals and respecting the land simultaneously. Examples include foraging workshops, mens circles, women's circles, vision quests, healing lodges, sound ceremonies, herbal medicine making, and biodynamic farming essentials.
In order to connect with some of the amazing offerings available to you, we encourage you to connect with our Members directly, learn more about who they are, what they teach, and the kinds of sacred spaces they hold.
Environmental Stewardship Fee
We understand that many of our guests come from urban centres and travel quite a distance to participate in our programs, so invite guests to stay the night pending the presence of your hosting Member. While there is no fee to stay the night, an Environmental Stewardship Fee is charged per person by the Rosseau Sanctuary to offset costs for use of our natural resources (wood, water, propane, heat), waste disposal (septic maintenance), eco-friendly supplies, and professional services as needed (electrician, plumbing, etc). In this way, we create a Sanctuary for all who come. Environmental Stewardship Fees range from $15-125 per person, pending the size of their footprint. All fees are folded into your tuition, charged by your hosting Member, who then reimburses the Rosseau Sanctuary so it can be used directly to offset the costs for use of our natural resources.
